IGN.com – E3 2009: Gamer Grub Unveils Two New Flavors

June 4th, 2009 by Chris Iaquinta, IGN.com

The words “food” and “gaming” might represent very different activities within themselves, but it’s hard to imagine that even a single gamer exists that hasn’t indulged in his favorite snack while ripping through some noobs. The main issue with most food that has been popularized by gaming culture is that it contains mostly unhealthy ingredients and practically no beneficial effects (sans an extended gut). Gamer Grub on the other hand, which combines performance enhancing nutrients with tasty favors, has been leading the way in energy-inducing snacks, and here at E3 has announced that they are adding two new items to their menu.

What sets Gamer Grub products, such as their Pizza and PB&J flavored snack bags, apart from your typical retail store foods like pretzels and potato chips is that it’s scientifically formulated with a lot of vitamins, such as Vitamin A, Vitamin B3, Vitamin C, and other enhancing components like L-Glutamic Acid and Choline. The end result is grub that produces better fuel for your body for long gaming sessions.

On top of the Pizza and PB&J flavors, Gamer Grub has unveiled that their two new snack lineup additions will be the spicy Wasabi and sweet tooth Chocolate (which may be renamed to Smores by the official launch) bags. The Wasabi edition comes packed with a blend of sesame sticks, almonds, wasabi peas, friend onions, peanuts and pita chips, while the Chocolate combination is made up of chocolate drops, graham bites, marshmallow drops and white chocolate drops.

Both new favors are set for a release sometime this Fall and will carry an MSRP of approx. $3.95 each. To learn more on how to get the most bang out of your late night gaming feasts, visit the Gamer GrubĀ website.
