FAQ
Where can I buy Gamer Grub?
Gamer Grub is available at our partner retailer store and online locations.
Are you a division of an evil corporate conglomerate trying to cash in on gamers?
Nope, I got tired of wiping my hands on my jeans and I like to multi-task. I also like good tasting snack food and wanted higher performance. I thought “there has to be a better way?!” I made the first Gamer Grub prototypes in my mom’s kitchen. We are a new garage start-up in every sense of the term.
WTF—are you a gamer?
I programmed my first project in DOS in a high school computer science lab. Back then, hard drives on the mainframe were stacked on a removable carriage that was the size of a dinner plate. To use the Information Super-Highway (internet) we had a large button phone, hand-dialed a number, then placed the handset in a microphone cradle for connection.
My first PC FPS was Wolfenstein 3D booted from DOS. Having gone through various gaming phases in my life, currently I would define myself as a “Casual Gamer”. FPS games on a LAN are my favorite, hands down.
Throughout my gaming and computer experience, I have been battling greasy fingers and keyboard crumbs.
I am allergic to peanuts; do you have any flavors that do not have nuts in them?
Pizza does not have peanuts. The other three current flavors all contain peanuts. Gamer Grub is packed on shared equipment with other tree nuts, wheat, milk, eggs and soy. Please refer to the allergen statement as listed on each flavor.
Is Gamer Grub Kosher?
At this time, Gamer Grub is not certifed Kosher.
Where is Gamer Grub made?
Here in the good ol’ USA.

Wondering if we could get our hands on some nutrition facts for these? Sounds like a great idea to make healthy snacks that taste great–my appetite is whetted.

I don’t know. The way you’re marketing this product comes off as very ignorant. I mean, I’m sure it’s delicious and includes all the vitamins you claim it does. But maybe not all gamers are greasy slobs who don’t get enough vitamins. In fact, it’s kind of insulting that we, your target demographic is pictured in such a way. I mean, maybe, just maybe all you marketing types aren’t presumptious money-grubbers, but I’m not the one trying to insult your ability to consume food like a normal person.

Intriguing idea. The problem with these is the idea comes off as potentially being loaded with sugar, salt, trans-fats and all those things that I avoid eating crisps because of. However, nuts and fruit all tend to lead to sticky fingers and shell or seeds to dispose of. I will probably try one when it is sold somewhere in the UK, at least so I know.

Nightmare, I’m not sure I feel the same way. I’m not offended at all by this idea, and I think you might have misinterpretted the idea behind this.
I don’t think that it’s insinuated that gamers are intrinsically messy. I think that it’s implied, however, that many snack foods are. It’s reaching out to a demographic that has a need for relatively healthful snack without the crumbs and grease often associated with snack foods.
On a side note, food is healthful, not healthy. If something were healthy, it’d be in good health. If something were healthful, it’d be nutritious and good for you. If you tried to appeal to the minority of grammar nazis, I bet you they’d buy your product solely based on that difference. :D

Why are there peanuts in the Pizza flavor? D:
Hi; The peanuts were included in the Beta version. Pizza Blend v1.0 does not include peanuts. KM

In response to Nightmare Evil: I understand your opinion, though personnally I think it could add to the geek-attitude, and many geeks will enjoy this for sure. I’m not totally one myself, but this is a part I’ll certainly enjoy ;D

I tested this stuff for the com.puter.tv review promo awhile back and I loved this stuff.
I was wondering if it will be available at any other store or online anytime soon?

Where do i buy this online?

I tried a free sample at Fry’s and was skeptical at the price point and the so called perks of the snack being non-greasy and having neurotransmitters. The pizza flavor is pretty tasty though PB & J seemed sweet for my preference.
The surprising thing was 15 minutes after I ate the free samples I actually felt more energized and focused. I also found out the snack being clean is because of the package design to make it really easy to eat directly from the bag. Keeping the snack off your hands helps to not have the crumbs on controllers, keyboards, or even textbooks because I think Gamer Grub would even be good for studying.
I want more Gamer Grub and I especially want to try the Wasabi flavor because I love spicy foods.

You’re right Thomas, they are great for studying. I’m currently plowing through my latest “tome” for English, and making record time. (Whilst munching on Gamer Grub, of course)
They’re like grabbing for a soda, just pick ‘em up, tilt the package a bit, and continue on fragging (Er, reading)
