Wii U Players Get Faced With Delay For Injustice: Gods Among Us

A large concern behind next-generation fans was the lack of launch titles for the Wii U and more importantly, the lack of simultaneous releases. Most considered Nintendo’s latest console to be a mini-leap between this generation and next-generation and despite some innovative technology, it’s already proving true in terms of exclusive games, third-party developers and simultaneous releases. The latest victim of this is the upcoming fighting title Injustice: Gods Among Us.

The game will launch in the US tomorrow with both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions coming to Europe this Friday but sadly Wii U fans will have to wait until April 26th before they get the opportunity to sample the game in the UK. The information came from an official Warner spokesperson earlier today but they did not offer any real reasons for the delay.

Further disappointment for Wii U players as the Injustice: Gods Among Us Special Edition has been confirmed for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 versions of the game; however there has been no official statement on the availability for the Wii U. A Season Pass was also revealed for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions but yet again, nothing official for the Wii U.
