Capcom Announce PSN And Xbox Live Release For Marvel VS. Capcom Origins

Capcom have just released a press statement including details on the highly anticipated PSN and Xbox Live Arcade title, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, a compilation of two hugely popular arcade titles of the 90s, Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins is going to be a great way to return to the fast-paced combat nostalgia of the earlier titles. Sadly, fans do have some time to wait as the official release has been dated for both Xbox Live Arcade and PSN for September 2012, priced at $14.99/€14.99/£11.99/AUD 23.95.

The game will use a variety of features from both the popular titles, offering the one-on-one game-play of Marvel Super Heroes and the highly in-depth Infinity Gem system, combining them with the two-on-two manic battles of Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes. The full tag system will be featured, including assists and the ever popular Duo Team Attacks. Players can also expect a few new goodies to enter the game such as HD graphical upgrades, the ability to save replays and watch your friends battles, and finally, dynamic challenges.
